Kami (狼)

I'm a 25 year old male. As far as relationships go, I'm single and seeing where that goes.

I go by three names: CWolfCW (general), Kami (furry), and my real name.... Well, you'll just have to ask me. ^_^

Anyway, I was born in Toronto, Ontario (my birthday was on Hallowe'en :P ) and am currently residing there. I am also proud to be Canadian (Chinese-born Canadian, that is *lol* ). I am fluent in English and Mandarin but am also trying to learn Japanese on the side.

I'm also trying to work on my drawing skills. I hope to become proficient enough so that I won't have to rely on others for high-quality artwork.

Most recently, I've obtained my A+ certification. Intending to enter the IT field as well and obtain MCSE and CCNA qualifications in the future. ^_^

I am also a gamer. I generally go by the name Kami (from my fursona) when I play online. Gaming-wise, I am addicted to RPGs, especially ones with good stories. You can check out what games I have and want by using the My GameSpot or My IGN links to the left. Also, feel free to challenge me to a game of chess!

I love reading (specifically, the fantasy genre but will read anything that looks interesting). I also enjoy listening to trance and rock for the most part. As for other genres, I tend to collect anime, game, and general Chinese/Japanese/Korean music.

I'm loyal, stubborn, intelligent, kind, logical, idealistic, devoted, asocial, lonesome, trusted, and a lot more; however, just saying these things doesn't make it true, but it gives you an idea. I'm also rather introverted and shy (ISTP-type) but probably because of that, I am also fond of philosophy/spirituality. :P

Some people have also wondered what my handle stands for. Well, back when the internet was only just starting to become popular with chat, forums, etc. I chose the name CyberWolf. Unfortunately, over a year or so, that name started popping up everywhere and people even started impersonating me on certain sites. So, I decided to shorten it down to CWolf. Again, the same thing happened. I finally decided to tack on the initial at the end while maintaining the name of the animal I appreciate: CWolfCW. Judging by name and profile picture, you can probably guess my fursona - an anthropomorphic wolf.

I've been a furry with an affinity to wolves since I was a kid - just never been a part of the community until Fall 2005. I do not condone material that is questionable in normal society (i.e. morally wrong). It is unfortunate that I would need to state this type of information but there is just too much questionable material in regards to furry. I love furry because it's part of who I am, not what I do. Furry isn't about the stuff you do (as some people think). My point is that morality, ethics, etc. exists and is not specific to any individual group. As a random example: A thief on Earth or a thief on Mars could be completely different in personalities yet, they are still thieves. It is something they do, not who they are.

My Fursona:

Name: Kami Yamabushi (狼山伏). The story behind this name is a secret.
Form: Anthropomorphic grey/timber wolf (male). Entirely black-furred (including tail) except the front (from the neck down) and the inner-ears which are white. Hair is black and somewhat messy. Eye colour is gold-amber-ish. Height and weight are average. Ambidextrous but favours right-paw. Age is the same as mine (he’s me!). [Might shift to a more feral form, depending on his mood.]
Costume: When he does wear clothing, it would likely be a Japanese kimono/hakama set and carrying a cursed katana with saya. Sometimes wears blue-purple-ish sunglasses (no frame/arms) and/or a black or red collar along with a tag with his name on it. The blade of the katana is black and the saya is beautifully designed.
Personality: He is usually calm and level-headed, albeit shy, but won’t hesitate to react to a situation. He is also humble and not one prone to arrogance and conceit. He acts playful and young at heart, even when he's suffering. He likes apples and snow, but dislikes really sticky stuff.
