Day of Defeat... SOURCE!

One word: AMAZING. Yes, that's right, Day of Defeat: Source is one heck of a game. Only issues I have with it at the moment are minor: 1. FPS is horrible at times for no apparent reason. 2. Movement sounds are way too quiet. Somebody carrying a shovel and heavy equipment around should not be able to run up to you from behind without you hearing them at all; the footsteps are way too quiet for it to be realistic - it's completely drowned out by the ambience noise. Regardless, get this game! IT IS WORTH IT!

Anyway, I will be updating the music soon (again!). I'm fairly busy this week but hopefully it'll be calmer by next week. I've also begun updating several outdated program on my computer. One of the major changes I've made was to move from Jasc (Corel) PaintShop Pro X to Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium. I can't wait until Windows Vista is released so I can actually buy a new laptop (which I intend to buy from WidowPC... *drool*).

Well, I'll post again sometime in the next few days but I'm dead-tired right now and my brain can't think of anything else to say (but I know there's still something I want to say). Until then, take care all!

Year Start!

If you haven't noticed yet, I had updated the music several days ago and changed a bit of the layout as well. I'll probably update the music again in a week or so.

Classes have officially begun! *cries* Anyway, I've already had an interesting week. A couple of my friends have already visited a few times and that was definitely fun. I also received my Radiata Stories and Burnout Revenge - fun stuff! I'm still waiting for a bunch of other stuff still but they should slowly trickle in as the days go by.

I've also managed to obtain a licensed copy of Adobe Creative Suite 2! My goal this year is to do more... including actually trying to learn stuff I've been meaning to learn for a long time. This is not a small goal either but hopefully I'll be able to pull it off. Brushing up on some programming and other computer related issues isn't easy either, but I do intend to try.

In clan news, we are now 3-3-0 in CAL-O. Our most recent win was a forfeit; apparently, the opposing team disbanded before our match. Ah well, season's almost over anyway. We'll just keep continuing and see how it works out.

Second Life

Yes, I know... I still haven't updated the music. Another school year starts in about a week. *sigh* I miss the holidays already.

Anyway, I've already sold my old PS2 and received the new one premodded with a DMS4-Pro (200GB HDD included!). Installing your games on to the HDD just makes loading go by so much faster - not too mention that you can hook it up to a desktop PC (or in my case, a HDD enclusre).

In clan news, we are currently 2-2-0 (win-loss-draw) for CAL-O. We have another match tomorrow night but have no clue as to what's going on with that since there has been no contact with the opposing team yet.

Now, you're probably wondering what the heading Second Life stands for... well, it's an MMORPG, except it's fully customizable (from looks to land-ownership, from modern worlds to complete fantasy - there's something for everybody)! There are no goals and you don't level - it's basically like a simulation of real life in some parallel dimension. The economy is very similar to real life too, in fact, the Linden (L$ - in-game currency) has it's own market in real life - meaning you can make money in-game and sell in real life! Not to mention that there is only a one-time fee for set-up as a basic member. You can find me in-game as Okami Yamabushi (can you figure out what Yamabushi stands for?). I'm your typical cute, furry, anthropomorphic wolf. ^_^

I've also pre-ordered the three main games for the PS2 for September:

1. Radiata Stories
2. Burnout Revenge
3. Genji: Dawn of the Samurai

I'm considering pre-ordering DDR Extreme 2 as well but I haven't even received my damn DDR stuff I ordered from RedOctane yet. W... T... F...?!
