The Calm Before the Tests

Bah! One day back from home and I miss my home internet connection already. Rogers still has no date set for when they will fix this area's problems. Not only that, Bell doesn't have DSL service here! Rogers has completely monopolized my area. *growl*

It's not like I care that the speed is less than half the speed of the Express service (mine is Extreme) or that this area has had problems for over two months now; no, I'm ticked off by the fact that I can't even do what I need to do at times since the connection is so crappy! I'm just glad it's not like that 24/7 and that I have alternative means as well.

Rogers is great when it's great but when it's bad, it's really bad. My experience with Bell has always been very stable service but poor customer service. It's kind of a toss-up when you compare which company is better.

Anyway, I've got bigger fish to fry this week with mid-terms and all. I hope everybody used the week wisely to prepare for their own mid-terms. If not... you better have telepathic abilities or something. Heh, seriously, start cramming!

On a side-note, if you play RF Online, feel free to look me up on the Spirit server; I'm known as Okami (heck, I'm known as Okami on every RF Online server *lol*). I haven't really started into Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach yet, but I've made characters on every single server as well.. You can probably guess the name. :P

Oh, I still have an extra Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach pre-order key and an extra Guild Wars pre-order key (from way back) as well. Just let me know if you want either and we'll work something out.

RPGs Galore!

Wow, there are a bunch of RPGs that are being released this year. The one I'm highly anticipating is Kingdom Hearts 2!

Just a short list of other "hot" titles:

I'm pretty sure there are at least several more I've missed (not including the single-player RPG-ish type titles like Okami). Pretty amazing year for RPGs, eh?

In other news, my ability to draw a basic outline for a figure seems to be improving... somewhat. ^^; At least it's progress. *lol*

I believe reading week is drawing to a close for most universities, so good luck to all those who are still cramming for the tests next week.

Snow

As I was walking to the subway station on my way home from class, it started to snow. I couldn't help but smile.

There are many sorrows in life but even in the worst of things, there is always something beautiful to be found. Be it the gentle snowflakes that drift through the air during a bitter winter day or the pitter-patter of raindrops that refresh a dying world, there is beauty.

Breathe life into the moment, hear the whispers of the heart, feel the passions of life, taste the tears of joy, and see the beauty in all things.

No Artwork From Me... For Now

Okay, so I've been working on this drawing for longer than I expected and it still isn't turning out the way I want it to. In fact, I think it looks like crap. So, I'm refraining from uploading this image anywhere - it's not even worthy of scraps in my opinion.

I'm still working on my skills but I think it will still be a long while before I can really create something I'm happy with. In the meantime, I'll just keep doodling away when I have time.

I promise I'll post some artwork eventually. *lol*

On a side-note, there are so many RPGs coming out soon! Yay! :P
