Proof that Girls are Evil

First we state that girls require time and money.

Girls = Time x Money

And as we all know "time is money".

Time = Money

Therefore:

Girls = Money x Money = ( Money ) ^ 2

And because "money is the root of all evil":

Money = sqrt( Evil )

Therefore:

Girls = ( sqrt( Evil ) ) ^ 2

And we are forced to conclude that:

Girls = Evil

Proof that Failure in Study is Inevitable

Assume that studying would result in a pass and not studying would result in a fail.

1. Study = No Fail
2. No Study = Fail

1. + 2.:

Study + No Study = Fail + No Fail

After factoring:

Study ( 1 + No ) = Fail ( 1 + No )

Therefore:

Study = Fail

The Wii is coming!

There are only a few days to go before the Wii is officially released. However, the Playstation 3 is also being released in a few days.

Now you may wonder which is the better choice. My guess is the Wii. Below are my top five reasons (subjective, of course).

1. The Wii costs significantly less than the Playstation 3.
2. The Wii is more innovative than the Playstation 3. In terms of hardware, it's not near as powerful as the Playstation 3 but it's still more powerful than the original Xbox.
3. The Wii will have more units available at launch than the Playstation 3.
4. The blockbuster hits like the Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy series are not available for the Playstation 3 on launch. At least the Wii has The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
5. Nintendo has a reputation of making their consoles well. Sony, in comparison, has released over 15 revisions for the Playstation 2 and the changes actually do have a noticeable effect (for better or worse).

Not to say that I won't eventually get a Playstation 3 but it will be a while after the launch date. I'm concerned about Sony's launch, considering they are rushing and their hardware is more complex (i.e. more prone to problems, possibly). Depending on how Sony does, this could make or break their company I think.

For now, I'm pretty sure the Wii will definitely be the top choice in these console wars. I really can't see the Xbox 360 coming out on top in competition between the Wii and the Playstation 3.

• Friendship should be a private pleasure, not a public boast. I loathe those braggarts who are forever trying to invest themselves with importance by calling important people by their first names in or out of print. Such first-naming for effect makes me cringe.

• When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate now knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.
